Greetings fellow League Member-Partners,

I am delighted to be writing you today to let you know that two of your fellow Members Partners, Ben Rutlege and Adam Kreek, were members of the men's eight rowing team that won gold on Day 16 of the Beijing Olympics.

League's CEO, Adam Gant, is particularly excited, having had the privilege, in his own competitive rowing days, of training with Ben and Adam.

"I am well aware of what an enormous accomplishment this is - the culmination of years of intense physical and mental discipline, the training, the unrelenting drive to push through the pain to be the best," says Adam. "They've proven they are the best in the world and I couldn't be more proud of them."

Toronto Star: Rowing For Olympic Gold

We at League are always excited to share the accomplishments of our individual Member-Partners with the group as a whole. It underlines the fact that we are all part of an extraordinary group of like-minded individuals that shares not only common investment goals, but also talent, aspirations and remarkable life stories.

It is indeed exciting to note that we can now add an Olympic Gold Medal to the list of our members' accomplishments, as cited in my letter to you on July 8. We're inspired by Ben and Adam's pursuit of excellence as we ourselves strive to achieve gold-medal performance in everything we do at League.

On a personal note, I'd like to say how delighted I am that Adam chose to leave rowing to partner with me and put his years of discipline, training, and dedication into the pursuit of excellence on behalf of our Member-Partners.
